What Is Spinal Decompression Therapy?
Spinal Decompression Therapy is a non-surgical treatment designed to relieve low back and radiating leg pain caused by disc problems.
It uses computer-controlled traction that gently and repeatedly unloads the spine, taking pressure off the discs and the nerves around them.
Unloading lowers the pressure inside the disc (the cushion between the vertebrae), which helps draw water, oxygen and nutrients back in (giving the disc the conditions it needs to heal).
